When we began R&D for our new Creatine Chews, we did what most responsible brands should do: we tested everything.
That included manufacturer samples, formulation options, and competing products already on the market — especially in gummy format, since that’s become such a popular delivery method.
But what we found raised major red flags.
The Shocking Truth About Creatine Gummies
Many of the creatine gummies we tested simply didn’t contain the full amount of creatine listed on the label.
In some cases, the levels had degraded dramatically — down to near zero.
Why does this happen?
Creatine is not water-soluble. In gummy form, which often includes high moisture, acidic ingredients, and soft textures, creatine begins to break down over time. It converts into creatinine, a waste by-product that offers none of the performance benefits athletes are seeking.
This isn’t just theoretical. Our lab testing proved it.
And here’s the crucial part: if a product is tested on Day 1, it might show acceptable creatine levels. But by the time it’s sitting on a shelf — or in your gym bag — those levels could be significantly lower.
Why We Didn’t Go Public Earlier
Some people have asked: “If you knew creatine gummies were ineffective, why didn’t you go public with it sooner?”
It’s a fair question.
But the truth is, we believe most brands had no idea. We suspect they trusted the data given to them by manufacturers — just like we were originally shown. The degradation issue isn’t obvious unless you test over time, and not everyone does that.
So instead of calling out other brands, we focused on creating a better solution.
The Birth of Creatine Chews
We chose a different path — one rooted in science, stability, and transparency.
Our Creatine Chews are made using a low-moisture, hard sweet-style format. This protects the integrity of the ingredient and ensures that the dosage on the label is the dosage you actually get — not just on Day 1, but months down the line.
Each chew delivers a clinically backed dose of creatine monohydrate, designed to support strength, power, and performance — without compromise.
In a World of Flavour-First Formulas, We Put Function First
Gummies might look fun. They taste great. But when it comes to serious supplementation — especially with ingredients like creatine — efficacy should always come first.
At VOW, we’re committed to doing things differently. We’ll never launch a product just because it’s trending. We take our responsibility seriously — because athletes trust us to get it right.
That’s the VOW we made to ourselves and the VOW we make to you.
